Hello and welcome to the Wild Rocks site.

I started painting on strange surfaces at the age of 16; eggshells, driftwood, walls, rocks, anything but canvas!   Twenty years later, I discovered the books of rock artist, Lin Wellford, and was inspired to create Wild Rocks.

I use acrylic paints to create raccoons, foxes, wolves, and other magical creatures.  Each rock is sealed with polyurethane to protect it from the elements, so they can be enjoyed in your home or garden.

Being a quick bike ride away from lake Michigan, I search for rocks on a daily basis.  This is definetly my favorite part of the process - discovering the creature within the stone! Sizes vary from tiny "rocklets" to boulders, although I never paint on a rock I can't carry myself.  I hope you enjoy my Wild Rocks.  Let me create a special one for you!
